Title: Business Consultant: Oil and Gas Revenue Accounting
Location: Houston, TX

Description:
This position requires being a subject matter expert in Revenue/Production Accounting in Oil and Gas accounting. This position also requires exceptional project management skills mixed with technical, account management and customer relationship expertise.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting in the development of communication material for the business users to be used in training classes to educate them in the new processes and systems.
Becoming expert in the Business Processes supporting Production
Educating the business users in new processes and systems to ensure that they maximize the benefits achieved from the solutions.
Managing multiple tasks and competing priorities in order to meet project-initiated deadlines
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5 YEARS in OIL & GAS ACCOUNTING, experience in an E & P environment including gathering, allocations and regulatory reporting
Excellent organization and communication skills (written and verbal)
Well-developed interpersonal skills; Excellent team player
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities
Ability to lead functional and technical resources in developing and testing data conversions, customizations, and interfaces.
Consulting competencies, including effective documentation skills and training skills
Aptitude for evaluating situations and draw sound conclusions, define issues, and implement solutions.
50% + travel required
