The Applications Analyst will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and support of a variety of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Applications including the Lawson Financial, HR, and Procurement suites in the Information Technology (IT) department across the company. The Analyst will participate in projects from design and planning through implementation and support and will assist in developing and implementing process changes.
The Applications Analyst will work both independently and with other team members to analyze business requirements and prepare specifications and recommended solutions, participate in the evaluation and implementation of standardized hardware and software, oversee and perform system testing and quality assurance for applications, enhancements, and upgrades, assist in any information requirements for audit purposes, conduct training and maintenance of super user groups for software solutions included in the ERP portfolio, and develop and maintain expertise in supported applications, including Lawson, Maximo, Document Express, Hyperion Essbase, BSI Taxfactory etc.
Requirements:
Qualified applicants will have a Degree from a four-year College or University in a computer related field or equivalent work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of technical training courses and certifications preferred. Experience will include 6 years of experience in systems analysis, code design, testing and fixing of computer programs, including knowledge and experience in supporting ERP applications in Portfolio Management of ERP applications supporting HR, Financials, SCM etc. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also required.
Applicants should be able to participate in an on-call support rotation.
