IT Support / Records Management Coordinator / Help Desk Support




At Imperial Homes, Inc we are currently seeking an Entry Level IT Support / Records Management Coordinator to work in our southwest Houston, TX facility.




Duties and responsibilities:




Under general supervision provides employee help desk and on-site support for technical inquiries received via telephone and/or e-mail. Assesses nature of problem and resolves support issues. Coordinates the collection, storage, retrieval and destruction of company documents in accordance with established guidelines.






IT Support




**Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from internal and external users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.




** Handles problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for routine user problems, referring more complex problems to the Senior IT Support.




** Installs and upgrades work stations




**Maintains Inventory Management Database.






Records Coordinator




**Develops and maintains hard copy filing system and computer database for company documents.




**Insures document retention complies with company and legal guidelines and arranges for secure destruction as outlined in company policy. Sorts, Files, catalogs and forwards records to off-site storage. Retrieves and distributes records as requested and tracks to insure timely return.




**Assists with establishing and implementing document policies and procedures.




**Assists with establishing retention periods.
