JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Schedule QC activities
-Complete inspection reports with min. supervision
-Coordinate with shop and supervisors for conducting inspections
-Coordinate with outside NDE contractors
-Verify that outsourced NDE is done in accordance with applicable standards
-Maintain calibrated equipment in accordance with MHPI standards.
-Clearly and concisely communicate with production personnel on quality related issues.
-Conduct vendor site assessments for product approval.
-Trouble shoot weld related problems.
-Basic knowledge of Non-destructive testing methods and applications.
-Ability to read micrometers, dial and vernier calipers.
-Good knowledge of welding techniques and codes applicable to MHP products.
-Ability to clearly and concisely communicate facts to production personnel, engineers
& management.
-Ability to read fabrication and layout drawings
