Experience Required: Mid-level, Construction industry experience (AEC) and 2-6 years of software sales and marketing


Travel: None


Education Required: 4 year degree preferred


Work Authorization: US Citizen


Compensation: Salary based upon experience, commission or bonus plan, health insurance benefit

Project 3 Technologies is a regional sales and consulting firm representing several leading software publishers for the commercial construction and engineering industries. Primary products include Prolog Manager from Meridian Systems, Inc. (www.meridiansystems.com) and ProjectMates from Systemates, Inc. (www.projectmates.com). Meridian Systems is the leading provider of project management software for construction and engineering in the world.




Position Description


The Inside Sales and Marketing position will report to the company President and have direct responsibility to generate new software and services opportunities to new and existing accounts. Project 3 Technologies enjoys several competitive advantages in the marketplace that provide an excellent opportunity for early success for a driven sales minded individual.




Position responsibilities include:


• High level product demonstrations


• Sales proposal development


• Prospecting to new and existing accounts


• Marketing planning and execution


• Customer and prospect contact database management and prospecting


• Manage schedule of monthly webinar with software vendors


• Develop creative marketing content company sales initiatives




The primary customer profile includes large general contractors, program managers, construction management firms, engineering firms, and public and private owners managing portfolios of commercial construction projects. Typical clients have minimum annual project portfolios of over $50 million. The primary geographic territory is Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas.








Additional requirements:


• Proven experience selling software or industry sales within target markets


• Ability to work well independently as well as with a team


• Willingness to analyze and penetrate new sales territory


• Willingness to maintain and cultivate existing customer relationships


• Ability to define business value for software solutions


• Represent company with high ethical standards and good character


• Maintain a great attitude and high energy within a driving company culture
