Linens 'N Things, with over 500 superstores, is one of the largest linens and home furnishings specialty retailer in the U.S. and Canada. Due to our ongoing growth, we are looking for Group Selling Mangers who will thrive on our entrepreneurial spirit and the opportunity for unlimited advancement. Our 35,000 sq. ft. Superstores have immediate openings in our United States, as well as, our Canadian markets.
Job Description:
The Group Selling Manager (GSM) position is a first line management and working supervisory position. GSMs are responsible for assisting the Assistant Store Managers and General Manager in establishing and maintaining guest service by providing a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding departmental standards, and solid product knowledge.
Job Requirements:
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:
* 1-2 years experience with a successful retailer (preferably in a "Big Box" environment)
* Exceptional Guest Service Skills
* Enthusiastic, energetic personality
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
* Results oriented, with strong leadership and decision making capabilities
* Strong merchandising and operational skills
* Ability to demonstrate positive results
