Designed to care for young critically ill or injured patients, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit houses children with life-threatening conditions. This 15-bed unit offers the latest, state-of-the-art technology and equipment designed to preserve life for our young patients. Many of the patients on this unit are trauma patients, but the unit also offers intensive care for pediatric oncology patients, post-transplant patients, and other critically ill patients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing. Current State of Texas license/permit to practice professional nursing. Certified in Basic Life Support other certification based on nursing unit requirements. Two or more years NICU Level II experience preferred.
