Nurse Practitioner – Neuro-Oncology (Houston, TX)
Located in the Texas Medical Center, this TOP 100 Hospital w/Magnet designation provides care to patients from all over the world and is recognized as a world leader in patient care.
• Days; Monday – Friday
• Support Physician in clinical outpatient setting. Will be responsible for Ommaya Taps and LPs. Will back up Inpatient APN as needed.
• APN with at least 2 years experience, preferably in a Neurology or Oncology setting.
• Master's Degree in Nursing. Graduate education and related Board of Nurse Examiner (BNE) authorization must be consistent with clinical practice area and/or patient population.
• EXPERIENCE: Required: Two (2) years clinical nursing.
• LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Required: All of the following:
Written authorization from the State of Texas BNE to function as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
MAY BE REQUIRED: Authorization for limited prescriptive authority by the State of Texas BNE.
