Small Boutique PR firm in Galleria area seeks current college student or recent graduate to fill PR assistant role. The primary function of this position will be to support account team through daily duties which will include but are not limited to:
• Draft written materials for distribution
• Administrative support including but not limited to deliveries,
answering phones and other clerical duties
• Develop / update media/contact lists through use of online PR tools
• Conduct outreach to national, regional and local media
• Research information for strategic plans
• Support special events
Past PR / professional writing experienced encouraged but not required. Should be strong writer familiar with AP style and have a passion for PR with intent to learn. Please send writing samples along with resume / cover letter to above e-mail for consideration.
