ASSISTANT TOUR MANAGER
Mercury Mambo is currently seeking an Assistant Tour Manager for a 22-city mobile art tour representing a major beverage company. Program set to launch in May 2008.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with set up, execution and breakdown of promotional events
- Drive tour vehicle between events
- Interface with agency’s Event Manager to coordinate scheduling and logistics
- Assist with weekly event reports and photos
- Participate in weekly status calls
- Support Tour Manager with managing inventory of premiums and event elements
Key candidates should display professionalism, attention to detail, versatility, creativity, passion, knowledge of local Hispanic communities, and be extremely reliable. Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
Requirements:
1-2 years of mobile marketing experience
Ability to travel for extended amounts of time
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle stress positively
Ability to lift minimum of 40 pounds
Basic computer and Internet knowledge
Basic video camera and digital photography experience
Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License Certification (preferred but not required)
