Location: Central Southeast Houston
Requirements: Degree in a Business related field with 3+ years experience or 8+ years purchasing experience without degree in procurement of mechanical, equipment & instrumentation. Experience with Oracle is highly preferred however, SAP or other large ERP systems to be considered.
Our client is growing their staff to meet project demands. This person will be responsible for the following. This client fabricates equipment for the petrochemical industry.
• Coordinate procurement for Projects including receiving and generate requests and placing orders for materials and/or services to meet project schedules and budgets.
• Initiate and negotiate proper arrangements for materials purchased including contracts, maintenance agreements, blanket agreements.
• Provide status reports on delivery of materials and services, supplier qualification reports for new suppliers, procurement matrices
