We specialize in placing people into: Energy Jobs, Power Plant Jobs and Engineering Jobs.Our client, a consulting firm dealing in regulatory compliance, project permitting, internal audits, etc., is seeking a Senior Regulatory Consultant with a Bachelors of Science degree or higher in Physical Science or Engineering (Environmental, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical). Professional certifications are a plus for this position. The ideal candidate needs a strong understanding of state/federal environmental and safety regulatory agencies, including their jurisdiction and major regulations, the ability to develop effective written compliance programs for various federal and state regulatory drivers, a recent history of auditing compliance activities at a wide variety of operational facilities such as petrochemical, oil and gas, pipeline, or similar Hands-on implementation of regulatory compliance programs (Department of Transportation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Process Safety Management, Environmental Protection Agency, Mineral Management Service, Army Core Of Engineers), and a understanding of computer-based compliance task-management systems, preferably administrator and implementation level. The ability to insure smooth implementation of compliance programs and task-management software solutions is also a requirement. This position can be located in Houston, TX; Baton Rouge, LA; Denver, CO; or Tulsa, OK. The position is currently temporary, however, it can become a direct hire position based on the performance of the applicant. The salary listed is an approximation of the actual available salary range based on market analysis. The actual salary will be based on the skills and experience of the applicant.
