Business Process Analyst
SalvageSale, Inc. is a business-to-business, online global marketplace for the insurance, transportation and manufacturing industries. Through its secure independent auction site, www.salvagesale.com, the company has created a new model for the industry ¡V a competitive, cost-efficient, marketplace for buyers and sellers of salvage assets.
SalvageSale is seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst for their office located in downtown Houston, TX.
The Business Process Analyst will participate in business process improvement initiatives to enable delivery of quality service and apply process management best practices in line with the SalvageSale culture. This creative position will require process improvement, communications, and analysis experience, as well as interest in driving change management initiatives through effective communications strategy.
Responsibilities:
„X Research, analyze, develop, plan, and implement procedure, process, technology enhancements, metrics and training for products and services provided to customers.
„X Participate in the creation of project organization tasks such as developing project plans, process documentation, and estimating project timelines.
„X Participating on project teams to develop and implement policies & procedures supporting new process designs.
„X Gather and analyze information to determine if the processes are being executed effectively, as designed.
„X Determines timeframes for deliverables in order to meet business needs
„X Work with customers to understand their business processes and needs while managing expectations within the scope of existing business strategies
„X Act as a liaison between technical development teams and various business groups.
Qualifications:
„X BA or BS Required. Industrial Engineering background preferred.
„X 4 to 6 years experience of project management &/or analyst experience
„X Strong project management skills
„X Business analysis and research skills
„X Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal)
„X Ability to work in a team based environment
„X Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel and Visio)
„X Basic understanding of process improvement strategies and techniques
