Qualifications: Ideal candidate will have 5 yrs. experience in estimating the manufacture of specialty valves, AND/OR specialty heavy mechanical equipment, AND/OR labor and matereial. Must be able to read mechanical drawings and read and understand engineering specifications. Must be able to estimate labor; fabrication, machining and assembly from client's specifications and prepare formal proposal. Successful applicant will possess good computer (spreadsheets, e-mails, etc) and strong command of English language (written and oral). Ability to inspect and estimate repairs to parts. Some travel to customers site to estimate repairs. Due to refinery regulations, applicants must be drug free and have no felonies on record.
Responsibilities: Using client specifications, prepare estimate for fabrication of specialty valves. Our Client is a leader in their field and is expanding their estimating department.
