Precision Resource Company is seeking an Inspection Data Entry Clerk ( Data Manager for a seven month contract assignment.
Our client, a global leader in providing engineering services to the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, is seeking several professionals to be a part of an inspection data management team. The incumbent would assist in activities concerning inspection data and the improvement of local and offsite data entry and data management. The selected candidate will interact regularly with client representatives to resolve mechanical integrity concerns with a focus on inspection information; therefore, superior interpersonal and written communication skills are necessary.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma
Proficient in MS Office applications
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Skill Set
Understands the use of spreadsheet functions in MS Excel, including chart creation and graphing
Knowledge of database functions in MS Access
Knowledge of UltraPIPE
Familiarity with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), isometric drawings, and equipment documentation
Responsibilities
Work will primarily be performed at the clients office
Administrative issues include documentation using MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Outlook and UltraPIPE software
UltraPIPE data entry includes, but is not limited to:
o Details concerning Thickness Measurement Locations (TMLs) for piping and equipment
o Thickness survey data
o Retirement thicknesses
o Design and operating conditions for equipment and piping
Contribute to procedures relating to data management within the clients business unit.
Document and report the results of mechanical integrity and inspection work to Mechanical Integrity Consultants
Less than 25% travel within North America, as needed.
