Accounting Functions


General accounting duties - closing entries such as amortization of prepaid accounts, accruals, depreciation, and cost allocations as well as other ledger adjustments.


Financial Reporting – Internal and External


Forecast Monthly Expenses and Contracted Revenue *MUST BE PROFICIENT WITH QUICKBOOKS*








Treasury functions


Make deposits and post customer collections


Maintain line of credit with bank and associated reported








Billing Functions


Invoice customers as required


Maintain relationships with appropriate customer personnel to facilitate timely collections








Accounts Payable Functions


Process all vendor invoices


Process all employee expense reports


Print checks for signing by President or VP








Taxes


Work with outside advisors to complete federal tax return


Make appropriate quarterly tax deposits








Human Resource Functions


Provide overall management of human capital department


Perform semimonthly payroll duties


Maintain vacation, sick and training records


Process new-hires and terminations, and maintain employee files








Insurance


Communications with agent


Coordinate certificates of insurance for customers


Provide all renewal information








Office functions


Maintain computer network


Maintain working relationship with landlord


Ordering of supplies


Office equipment maintenance


General office condition and maintenance








Employee Services


Plan and coordinate monthly company meeting


Plan and coordinate annual family event, holiday party, and philanthropic event


Write and publish monthly newsletter
