Summary:
Applicant must be able to record oil, gas revenue in a timely and accurate manner to ensure correct receivables and payment obligations and reporting to the owners. Reconciliation of all GL accounts related to revenue bookings. Insure the timely and accurate calculation and recording of gains or losses as they relate to pipeline cash outs. Payments and recording of transportation and cash out invoices
Responsibilities:
· Accurate and timely bookings and reporting of revenues.
· Reconciliation of Cash, A/R, A/P and expense accounts related to revenue bookings,
· Payment processing, expense recording, and reconciliation of transportation and cash out invoices.
· Resolve discrepancies between 2014 reporting and revenue spreadsheet calculations.
· Set up and/or modify revenue spreadsheets.
· Resolve outstanding account balances.
· Assist royalty owners with any issues.
· Special projects as needed.
· Be a team player to insure compliance with SOX policies.
Qualifications:
· Minimum ten years of oil and gas Federal offshore revenue accounting experience required, with fifteen or more years preferred.
· Gas Plant accounting experience required.
· Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
· Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and handle multiple task simultaneously
· Flexible with changing priorities.
· Strong analytical, math and communication skills.
· Proficiency in MS Excel and Word are required.
· Prefer OGSYS and/or SAP accounting system experience.
· Accounting system conversion experience, preferred.
